Arrival & departure

From what time can we arrive?
Arrival is possible from 2pm.

Until what time are we allowed to leave?
Please leave before 12:00 so we can prepare the place for new guests.

Is a later departure possible?
A relaxed departure until 6 p.m. is possible upon request at a half-day rate, if occupancy allows.

Camping sites & camping equipment

What camping equipment is welcome?
Sjaerdemahof is suitable for tents, trailer tents, small caravans, roof tents and compact camper vans up to a maximum length of 6.5 metres.

Do you have permanent camping pitches?
No. You'll be camping with us on a former meadow with naturally formed pitches. No fixed pitch numbers, just space and freedom.

Are there any paved areas?
There are a few spots with a paved surface, each with its own green patch of grass.

Peace, atmosphere & camping together

Is Sjaerdemahof a quiet campsite?
Yes. For us, peace doesn't mean silence, but rather no rush and no excess. We consider each other in the evenings so everyone can sleep well.

Are groups welcome?
Groups of friends are welcome as long as it remains small and quiet. Please indicate this in your request.

Children & playing

Are children welcome?
Absolutely. We love welcoming families who want to explore the outdoors together.

Is there animation?

No. Children play freely here: on the trampoline, with go-karts
and discover outdoor life through play.

Cars & parking

Is the site car-free?
Yes. We park cars in the parking lot to keep the camping area quiet and safe.

Fire & barbecue

Is it allowed to light a fire?
Yes, fires are allowed at your own camping spot.
Fire bowls are available for rent and firewood is available.

Can I barbecue?
Yes, barbecuing is allowed at your camping spot.
We do ask that you take other guests into account.

Power, Wi-Fi & amenities

Is there power?
Yes, there are power points available at the camping sites.

Is there wifi?
Yes, but we also encourage you to go offline every now and then and enjoy some peace and quiet.

Are there sanitary facilities?
Yes, there are heated sanitary facilities with hot showers and toilets.

You can pay us in cash or easily via a QR code.
