Ankunft & Abreise

From what time can we arrive?
Arrival is possible from 14:00.

Until what time are we allowed to leave?
Please depart before 12:00 PM so that we can calmly prepare the place for new guests.

Is a later departure possible?
By arrangement, a relaxed departure until 18:00 is possible at a half-day rate, subject to occupancy.

Camping sites & camping equipment

Which camping equipment is welcome?
Sjaerdemahof is suitable for tents, folding trailers, small caravans, roof tents, and compact campervans up to a maximum of 6.5 meters.

Do you have permanent camping pitches?
No. With us, you camp on a former meadow with naturally formed spots. No assigned spots, just space and freedom.

Are there paved areas?
There are a few spots with a paved surface, all with their own patch of green grass.

Peace, atmosphere & camping together

Is Sjaerdemahof a quiet campsite?
Yes. For us, rest does not mean silence, but neither does it mean haste or excess. We are considerate of one another in the evenings so that everyone can sleep well.

Are groups welcome?
Groups of friends are welcome as long as it remains small-scale and quiet. Please indicate this in your request.

Children & playing

Are children welcome?
Certainly. We love welcoming families discovering the outdoors together.

Is there animation?

No. Children play freely here: on the trampoline, with go-karts
and discover the outdoors through play.

Cars & parking

Is the site car-free?
Yes. We park cars in the parking lot so that the campsite remains quiet and safe.

Fire & barbecue

Is it allowed to light a fire?
Yes, campfires are allowed at your own campsite.
Fire bowls are available for rent and firewood is available.

May I barbecue?
Yes, barbecuing is allowed at your campsite.
We do ask you to be considerate of other guests.

Power, Wi-Fi & amenities

Is there power?
Yes, there are power points available at the campsites.

Is there Wi-Fi?
Yes, but we also encourage you to be offline occasionally and enjoy the peace and quiet.

Are there sanitary facilities?
Yes, there are heated sanitary facilities with hot showers and toilets.
