No rows of caravans or animation teams, but a green spot in the middle of the Frisian landscape.
You wake up with birdsong and a view over the meadows.
Camping as it was once meant to be
Sjaerdemahof is a small-scale campsite near Sneek, suitable for:
- tents
- folding trailers
- small caravans
- roof tents
- compact camper vans (max. 6.5 meters
There are a few paved pitches, each with its own green patch. The remaining pitches are entirely on grass.
Outdoor living is key
Start your day with fresh rolls and a good cup of coffee.
Walk or cycle straight from the campsite into the countryside.
The Zwette and the Sneekermeer are a short distance away.
In the evening: a fire, stargazing and the silence outside.

At Sjaerdemahof you only pay for what you need – without hidden costs or booking surprises.
A family with two children can camp with us from €39 per night – including electricity and a hot shower.
Going on a cycling or hiking holiday? Stay from just €9 per night in your trekking tent – including use of the bathroom and a phone charging station in the dishwashing area.
This charging point is specifically designed for cyclists and walkers, but of course it can be used by everyone.
